Validation & Maintenance Services
Equipment Validation and Maintenance Services
To support your engineering team, MET offer comprehensive validation services with all the packaging, production and quality assurance equipment we sell, all of which is supplied CE marked. We have experience of qualifying packaging systems in the medical device environment, in the pharmaceutical arena and even for cosmetic treatments.
Validation services include:
- Analysis of your user requirement statement (URS)
- Factory acceptance trial (FAT)
- Installation qualification (IQ)
- Operational qualification (OQ)
- Process performance qualification (PQ)
MET also undertake the validation of equipment purchased from other suppliers, encompassing design of experiment and protocols for unusual machines or applications. Recent projects include:
- Validation of a blood transport cold chain
- Validation of incubators
- Studies of tissue package sealing for cryo-storage
For complete peace of mind, we also conduct:
- Calibrations - using fully traceable equipment
- Maintenance - ad-hoc visits or scheduled visits as part of a periodic contract
