MET provide a wide variety of services for testing medical devices and biotech product evaluation. You can benefit from our biomechanical and clinical expertise to prove the functional performance of your product. We will design and validate the test protocol, design and build the equipment and then provide independent performance data on your latest product development.
Medical device bench testing and package testing is available in our own ISO 9002 laboratory.
We also work in partnership with Protomed who are situated adjacent to the faculty of medicine in Marseille University where they have access to clinical knowledge to complement their own engineering background. Protomed have constructed some very sophisticated models for simulating the use of medical devices. These models include: a very comprehensive vascular tree with variable resistances and pulsatile flow, repeat operation testing for valves and articulations, simulated surgical procedures for instrument assessment. Finite element analysis can also be used to provide assistance in your design process.
